Nursery Cook
Job Description
We are looking for a Nursery cook to job share. Duties include to prepare and cook healthy, nutritious meals considering allergies and intolerances for the children in our small and friendly nursery.
The post would be 2 days per week from Monday to Friday, part time hours. 9.00 - 2.00.
Experience in catering/cooking role would be advantageous but not essential as would a valid food hygiene certificate. Full training will be given.
Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and must provide 2 references before starting.
Job Duties:
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
Additional Duties:
Menu planning
Recording food temperatures
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
