Ark Woodlands Nursery

is seeking a caring and reliable Cook & Housekeeper to join our friendly team. This is a varied role that combines preparing fresh, nutritious meals for up to 40 children with supporting the nursery in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

About the Role:

Prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children, taking into account allergies and dietary needs from our pre-set menus. Follow all nutritional guidelines for early years. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, following all health and safety requirements. Order supplies for the nursery Support light housekeeping duties around the nursery, helping us to keep our spaces safe, tidy, and inviting. Work as part of a supportive, friendly team who place children at the heart of everything we do.

About You:

Experience cooking for groups or in an education setting is desirable but not essential. Reliable, organised, and able to manage your time well. Willingness to take on varied tasks and help wherever needed. Food Hygiene Level 2

Hours & Pay:

30-36 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no late evenings or weekends). Staff perks include childcare discounts, pension scheme, and ongoing training.
