Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of nursery cook. This position involves preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in food preparation and food safety.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and high-quality service

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or working within a professional kitchen environment Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure during busy periods Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
