Doodle Do Day Nursery is looking for a Nursery Cook to join our friendly and happy team.

Role Overview

To provide a nutritious and well-balanced diet for the children. To ensure children's dietary needs, particularly serious allergies, are met. To contribute to the menu development, adhering to the 'home cooked' food ethos. To manage the weekly food ordering and stock rotation/control. To maintain high standards of hygiene. To adhere to food hygiene policies, standard operating processes and legislation. Washing and drying up Loading and unloading dishwasher writing shopping lists for the week

This position is a full-time position and salary is dependent on experience and suitability of the successful candidate.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

Experience of working in a kitchen A food safety qualification High levels of organisation and communication skills Experience of managing allergies and intolerances

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

A relevant catering qualification Experience of managing budgets Working in a nursery setting
