West Park Kindergarten, situated in the grounds of Blackpool Cricket Club at Stanley Park require a Nursery Cook :

You will be required to carry out all the kitchen duties, including preparation and cooking of the meals and maintaining a good standard of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen. Working hours will be 8.30am - 2.00pm (5.5 hours per day)

You must be able to prepare suitable nutritious food for a busy nursery. Experience working within an early years / care home or school environment would be beneficial.

Your role as Nursery Cook will include:

Preparation and delivery of nutritionally balanced, family-style meals for all children aged 0 - 5 years, following our recently created menu to meet the new EYFS nutritional guidance. Food ordering weekly and stock control Ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation Following kitchen procedures and maintain records in accordance with Environmental Health policies and processes Ensuring all special dietary requirements/allergies are met
