Job Description

To prepare and cook on a daily basis a variety of healthy nutritious meals for the number of children in attendance at the nursery. Ensure that food hygiene rules and health and safety standards are of a high standard within the kitchen and other food preparation areas. To be committed, hard working and reliable and work well as a part of a busy nursery team. The individual will need to be able to produce a healthy, well balanced, nutritious, menu for children aged 6 weeks - 8 years. There will need to be a winter and summer menu. A successful candidate will need to have experience cooking for large numbers and hold a valid food hygiene certificate. To cater for all allergies and dietary requirements. Provide delicious meals for celebrations throughout the year. E.g Chinese New Year & Christmas Dinner
The successful candidate will assist us in providing high nutritiously balanced meals for children aged 6 weeks - 8 years, 42.5 hours a week (7.30am-4.30pm).

A clear enhanced DBS is desirable however not essential.

Pay: 12.60 per hour
