Previous professional cooking skills are not essential. Part-time, no weekend work.
The nursery provides childcare and learning for children aged 0-5 years. Would you like to join our friendly team as the Nursery Cook? The successful candidate will be preparing nutritional meals.
Initial training and support will be given.
Professional cooking skills are not essential;
if you have good home cooking skills, this may be the job for you!Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm.
Please note:
the nursery is open throughout the year.Responsibilities and Duties (Full Training and Support will be provided)
To organise, cook and prepare a healthy, balanced diet for children aged 0 to 5 years. Cater for children who have allergies and special dietary requirements and prepare alternatives. Monitoring and recording of all information as required. Ensure high standards of hygiene and health and safety is maintained in the kitchen. To prepare a weekly shopping list. Ensure the kitchen and equipment is cleaned and maintained to a high standard
Part-time hours: 20 hours per week
