Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards Cook dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Support the team during service hours by serving guests and ensuring timely delivery of meals Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Contribute to maintaining a positive team atmosphere through effective communication and cooperation

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary principles Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary

Pay: 12,498.67-28,745.77 per year
