Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Nursery cook for our small nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in a kitchen environment. This role involves preparing meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus, child friendly recipes. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed Provide excellent service by presenting dishes attractively and responding to customer inquiries

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen in a nursery setting is preferred Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques Understanding of food safety practices and regulations Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude A passion for cooking and creating delightful culinary experiences for guests
