Prepare fresh lunch
Prepare trays for lunch. Ensuring all children have appropriate cutlery. ie babies have appropriate size spoon for age and ability. Children 18 months to two years have a spoon and fork. Children two years plus have a knife and fork.
Serve food to rooms. Heat any baby food that needs to be, so staff do not have to leave room. All temperatures of food must be recorded on sheets provided.
Serve baby room food already on plates and liquidise as necessary. Prepare fruit snack for after lunch.
Clear rooms after children's lunch.
Clear kitchen and enter both fridges and freezer temperatures into log. Prepare afternoon snack.
Afternoon tea to be left on plates ready to serve.
Clean kitchen and enter on log sheet that kitchen has been cleaned. Food shopping list written on a Thursday.
On a Wednesday sort freezer to ensure good food rotation.
Food shelves also to be sorted to ensure good food rotation.
Food shop to be checked and put away on a Monday.
