Teddy Bears Nursery is opening its doors in April 2026, and we're looking for a Nursery Cook to help feed our little cubs with love, care, and delicious home-cooked meals!

As our Nursery Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing healthy, nutritious meals that help our children grow, learn, and smile. You'll play a key part in our nursery family by making mealtimes happy, safe, and enjoyable.

Roles & Responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking fresh, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5
Catering for allergies, intolerances, and special dietary requirements
Following food hygiene, health & safety, and allergy procedures at all times
Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and well organised
Managing food stock, ordering supplies, and reducing waste
Working closely with the nursery team to support children's routines and wellbeing
We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience cooking (professional or similar setting preferred)
Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Food Hygiene certificate
Understands the importance of nutrition for young children ensuring they follow EYFS nutritional guidance!
Is reliable, organised, and calm
Brings a warm, friendly attitude to our nursery family

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
