Job Overview
Our Nursery team are looking for a cook to join them. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and kitchen environments. If you have a passion for supporting children's nutrition in a nursery environment, we would like to meet you. Working hours 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook or relevant role
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Understanding of kitchen health and safety rules
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Certification for Food Hygiene can be provided
