Temporary Nursery Chef/Cook - Ilford

Immediate Start Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Chef/Cook to join our temporary staffing pool in the Ilford area. This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, can adapt quickly to new environments and is confident working independently in a kitchen setting.

What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a Chef or Cook (school, nursery, cafe, care home or commercial kitchen experience welcome)

Good knowledge of food hygiene, dietary requirements & safe food preparation

Ability to work alone or within a small team

Reliable, organised and confident managing mealtime service

Level 2 Food Hygiene minimum

DBS on the update service or DBS last completed within last two years

Role Overview:

Temporary/short-term bookings - flexible to suit your availability

Preparing and cooking meals based on set menus and dietary needs

Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards

Supporting smooth meal service for staff and/or children depending on setting
