We are currently recruiting a Nursery Cook/ Cleaner to come and join Little Angels Daycare Nursery in Fazakerley, Liverpool. We are looking for a highly dedicated and passionate person who can deliver a high standard of nutritious food for young children aged 0-5 years on a daily basis.

This role is on a permanent basis for 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and required to subscribe to the update service and provide suitable references.

Nursery Cook/Cleaner Requirements:

Be a team player Self - Motivated and willing to learn Relevant Food and Hygiene qualification/ certification Allergy Awareness Good communication skills Friendly and enthusiastic High expectations of hygiene standards Undertake Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid training

Nursery Cook/Cleaner Duties Include:

Prepare and cook nutritionally balanced fresh meals for the nursery children each day. Catering for preferences, allergies and other dietary requirements. Ordering food and ensuring stock control Following kitchen procedures and maintain records in accordance with Environmental Health policies and procedures. Ensure the Kitchen is kept clean and tidy to a high standard. Complete food inspections for external agencies (Environmental Health) Overall, Kitchen responsibility Cleaning of communal hallways- brush/mopping and dusting. Ensuring nursery laundry duties are completed daily.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
