We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the overall management of our facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and parents.
Duties
Assist the Manager in the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Engage with children and implement educational activities that promote their development.
Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns.
Oversee the management of resources, including staff scheduling and inventory control.
Ensure that health and safety standards are upheld at all times within the nursery.
Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance service quality.
Experience
Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a childcare setting is essential.
Background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications is highly desirable.
Experience working with children, ideally within a nursery environment.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations if necessary.
