Jigsaw Nursery is a small, friendly day nursery based in Aigburth, caring for up to 35 children. We are open 51 weeks of the year

, from

8:00am - 6:00pm, providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow.

We are now looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic

Deputy Manager

to join our team on a

permanent, full-time basis

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery. Lead, motivate, and inspire the team to deliver outstanding childcare and education. Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements. Build positive relationships with children, families, and the local community. Take responsibility in the absence of the Manager.
About You:

Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Childcare. Previous experience in a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, or Deputy role. Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding standards. A confident leader with excellent organisational and communication skills. Passionate about giving children the best start in life. Willingness to undertake

continuous professional development (CPD)

to enhance skills and expertise. Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
What We Offer:

Salary: 28,000 per year.
