We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team on a temporary basis to cover Maternity Leave . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our establishment, ensuring that high standards of care and education are maintained. This position is particularly suited for individuals with a passion for working with children and a strong background in childcare or early childhood education.
Responsibilities
Assist the Manager in the daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
Supervise staff and provide guidance to ensure effective teamwork and high-quality care for children.
Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in.
Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff members.
Handle administrative tasks as required, including record keeping and reporting.
Skills
Proven experience in management and leadership roles within a childcare setting.
Strong background in early childhood education or nursery experience is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience working with children, demonstrating a genuine passion for their development and well-being.
