We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children. This role involves supporting the daily operations of our childcare facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children while assisting in the development of educational programmes.
Duties
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for both children and staff.
Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood learning.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the nursery.
Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress and wellbeing.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support in their roles.
Manage administrative tasks as required, including record keeping and reporting.
Collaborate with the team to create a stimulating environment that encourages children's development.
Experience
Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a childcare setting is essential.
Background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications is highly desirable.
Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is required.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with staff, parents, and children.
