We are currently recruiting a Nursery Deputy Room Leader (Under 2s) who will assist the Head of Nursery in the smooth running of the Under 2s nursery room, alongside the Room Leader, and to provide support for the nursery children in a welcoming, caring and safe environment.


Day-to-day tasks include working in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the well-being of the children, implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and assisting in the completion of 2-year checks and reports.


You will be Level 3 qualified or higher in Early Years, have at least two years' experience of working with children under the age of 2 years and have a good working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum. This is a hands-on role which requires excellent planning and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage, motivate and act as a positive role model for the team.


A knowledge of the independent school sector would be an advantage but is not essential.


Hours of work: Full time (45 hour per week) on an all year contract. The working hours are Monday 8.15am - 3.45pm, Tuesday 8.15am - 6.00pm, Wednesday 7.30am - 3.45pm, Thursday 8.15am - 6.00pm and Friday 8.15am - 6.00pm


Annual Leave: 20 days plus the usual statutory holidays
