Nursery Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship
Job Description
At Sunflower Day Nursery based at Courtenay Park we are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to work here at the nursery for 30-40 hours per week whilst undertaking their Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification. 20% weekly off the job time will be given to the successful candidate to support them with their studies.
At our Courtenay Park setting we pride ourselves on providing quality care and education to babies from 4 months up to children of 5 years of age. Your main duty will be to care for children whilst supporting the team across one of our 3 rooms in the implementation of positive activities and experiences to promote children's learning and development. If you have an enthusiastic approach to early years' care and education and are able to work creatively to stimulate and engage children then we would like to hear from you.
A full enhanced DBS check and 2 successful references are required.
The rate of pay is the National Apprentice Wage of 7.55 per hour for the first year of your apprenticeship, this will then increase to the NMW for your age.
