Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:15pm (Term Time Only)

Flexibility:

Paid occasional cover until 5:30pm for After School Care Club

Start Date:

January 2026

We are looking to expand our bank of Nursery Practitioners to support our dedicated team in the Fledglings Room (ages 2-3) and Nursery (ages 3-4) at Dulwich Cranbrook.

We welcome applications from qualified Early Years Educators (Level 2 or above), as well as experienced practitioners interested in pursuing the Government-backed Experience-Based Route into early years education.

Key responsibilities



Deliver and supervise engaging, age-appropriate activities under the guidance of the Room Leader

Support children's daily routines including play, meals, rest, and toileting

Observe and record children's development to share with staff

Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

Ensure a safe, nurturing environment at all times

Assist with toileting and nappy changing in line with our Intimate Care Policy

Support mealtimes, ensuring dietary needs are met

Complete induction training covering safeguarding, health & safety, and food hygiene

What we're looking for:



Level 2+ qualification in Early Years Education or relevant experience with children under 5

Sound understanding of the EYFS framework

Passion for working with young children and a flexible, positive attitude

Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable manner

Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and cover needs

Flexibility to work varied hours depending on the cover required
