Overview

We are seeking experienced

Level 3 or Level 2 childcare qualified staff to join our team at our Rosehill Day Nursery for Term Time only across the 38 weeks.

The ideal candidates will have strong backgrounds in early years and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of young children. The Nursery Educator will be responsible for managing activities that have begun from the child's interests, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in their care.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging activity plans that cater to the developmental needs of children. Communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment. Manage the children's behaviour by promoting positive interactions and addressing any issues that arise. Provide individual attention to children as needed, ensuring each child's needs are met. Drive educational activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and social skills. Maintain a safe and clean nursery environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience. Document children's progress and communicate findings with parents during meetings.

Qualifications

Level 3 or Level 2 qualification in Early Years is essential. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare. Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diversity among children and families Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of the children.
