We are seeking an

experienced and passionate Nursery Floor Manager

to oversee the day-to-day operations of our

30-place nursery

. This is a key leadership role for an Early Years professional who is committed to high-quality care, strong team leadership, and excellent outcomes for children.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements Lead, support, and supervise nursery staff, promoting best practice and professional development Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's care and development Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate learning activities Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children Maintain accurate records including attendance, children's progress, and incident reports Work with local authorities and external agencies to ensure best practice Support initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the local community

Requirements

Proven experience as a Room Leader or Third in Charge

within an Early Years setting Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development Relevant Early Years qualification (

Level 3 or above

) Experience working directly with children in a nursery setting is essential
