Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Didsbury Village Day Nursery. In this role, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our children and staff, contributing to the quality of care we provide.

Shifts

You need to be to work between 10am - 6pm, Monday - Friday with a 1 hour break for lunch. Shifts may be increased slightly to begin at 9:30am and/or finish at 6:30pm.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the nursery facilities. Deep cleaning nursery rooms. Kitchen support. General cleaning duties around the building, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitising surfaces and emptying bins. Assist with stock control and deliveries. Assist in organising and maintaining storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Requirements

Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Please note that the nursery operates over four floors and does not have a lift.
