Job Description

We are a busy Nursery in Worthing looking for a Housekeeper to work part time 3 days (Monday, Wednesday & Friday), 9 hours a week (hours can be flexible to suit the candidate). This is a varied role where you will be working to support the daily running of the nursery, ensuring practitioners have the right tools available to be able to care for the children with ease and no pressure. The interior will need to be kept clean and the exterior gardens kept to a high level of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the day.

Ensuring the daily tidy and clean of all nursery rooms Ensuring the daily cleaning of all kitchen, bathroom and communal areas Ensuring the daily thorough cleaning of other nursery areas Maintaining the cleaning stock cupboard Upkeep of the kitchen, especially after snack time and lunchtime, helping with washing and drying of equipment Light garden duties-keeping the outside area tidy and clean Deep Cleaning when required - please note we have cleaners who deep clean the nursery on a daily basis Staff areas tidy up and clean To ensure all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to Working as part of the team with the Nursery Staff To ensure their safety and welfare of the children at all times whilst moving around the nursery. To be responsible for maintaining the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery premises.

Pay: 12.21-12.71 per hour
