Nurserytime South Shields are seeking a Nursery Housekeeper to maintain and oversee the cleanliness of their beautiful, modern site in the heart of South Shields.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the nursery setting.

Hours are negotiable

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of all playrooms and public areas of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness. Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitise surfaces to maintain hygiene standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management Assist with laundry duties if required. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks. Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks such as lifting and moving furniture. A clear DBS check is required (carried out by nursery management) and sufficient references are to be returned prior to starting in the role, as per safer recruitment procedures.
