Overview

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Nursery Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the nursery, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for children, staff, and families. T

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve children's nursery teas in line with dietary requirements and allergy policies. Tidy and clean the kitchen area, including washing up and ensuring surfaces are sanitised. Load and unload washing machines and tumble dryers, assisting with laundry duties as needed. Refill essential supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet rolls across nursery areas. Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of communal areas. Work as part of a supportive team, while also being confident to work independently and manage own tasks. Follow nursery health & safety, safeguarding, and hygiene procedures at all times.

Person Specification

Reliable, punctual, and well-organised. Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Previous experience in housekeeping, catering, or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
