Part-Time Kitchen Assistant - Day Nursery
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic
Part-Time Kitchen Assistant
to join our warm and welcoming nursery team! If you have a passion for preparing healthy meals for young children and enjoy working in a friendly environment, we'd love to hear from you.As our Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation and serving of nutritious meals and snacks to children aged 0-5. You'll help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and follows all hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and serving daily meals and snacks Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment Follow dietary requirements and allergy guidelines Wash up and clean kitchen areas and utensils Support stock rotation and food storage
Requirements:

Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification
(or willingness to complete before start date)?
Enhanced DBS check
? Basic knowledge of food safety, allergies, and portion control
? Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently
? Experience in a kitchen is essential
