Kitchen Assistant

to join our wonderful team.

We care for children aged 6 months to 5 years and provide a rich, stimulating learning environment. Our nursery is inclusive and committed to helping both children and staff grow, thrive, and feel a strong sense of belonging.

About the Role

We work in partnership with

Nursery Kitchen

, who deliver healthy, nutritious lunches for our children. We are now looking for a Kitchen Assistant to help ensure meals are served safely and hygienically.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times Carry out daily and routine cleaning of kitchen equipment, surfaces, floors, fridge, storage areas, and cupboards, as directed by the Nursery Manager Complete daily kitchen risk assessments Wash up and keep kitchenware clean Clean the oven and fridge regularly Help prepare and present food for children in a safe and timely manner

What We're Looking For:

A hardworking, passionate individual with a good command of English A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
