Job Description

Hours of Work: 10am - 5pm Mon - Fri

Hourly Pay: 12.21 -13.11 per hour

We are looking for an kitchen assistant to join our daycare nursery in Walthamstow. If you have a Level 2 or higher training in Food Safety, and have experience in a similar role, please apply.

:

Cutting, chopping and general preparation of snacks to be served to children Serve snacks, lunches and tea Clean pots, pans and utensils after each meal is prepared and served Store the kitchen equipment and utensils in orderly and hygienic condition Wear protective clothing aprons, hair net, plastic gloves Maintain a temperature log of food served to children to ensure high risk foods are served at recommended temperature Ensure Fridges and Freezers operate at recommended temperature Check expiry/use by dates of food and store appropriately Report all food hazards, faults and suspicion of contamination Be aware of children with allergies when serving meals Report any site of pests or pest activities Cooperate with Enforcement Officers Undertake any other duties as directed by the Nursery Management
