Job Description

The Orchard Nature Nursery Limited are seeking a friendly and proactive kitchen assistant to support our Nursery chef. Are you organised, reliable, and passionate about supporting young children to enjoy good quality homemade healthy food. This role will provide support on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 2pm - 16 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting with bi-weekly online food shopping orders Preparing and serving meals Keeping a clean environment throughout the day Conducting regular deep cleans of the kitchen and food preparation areas Carrying out stock takes and maintaining food supply levels Ensuring safe food storage and clear labelling in line with allergy requirements Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
What we're looking for:

Experience in a kitchen or catering environment Awareness of food hygiene and allergens (training can be provided) Organised and able to follow processes Team player with a positive, can-do attitude A genuine interest in contributing to a caring and child-centred environment
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Work Location: In person
