Job Description
As Nursery Kitchen Staff, you will be essential in creating a safe and nurturing environment for our children while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly.
You will be assisting with the daily cleaning schedule, such as mopping, sweeping, wiping surfaces, and cleaning dishes, kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery.
Please note, our food comes already made daily, you will only be asked to make snacks. You will be asked to prepare food on special occasions (Sports day, Mothers day, Coffee mornings etc..).
Keeping paperwork and records up to date to be used for future reference for the safety of everyone consuming food
Taking stock of all dry and frozen foods before an order
Monitoring wastage at all nurseries and suggesting changes to the menu accordingly if a meal is unpopular
The Ideal Candidate
This position is for an experienced Nursery Kitchen Assistant who is passionate about feeding young children healthy balanced meals and thrives off seeing full tummies and empty dishes!
You need to understand allergies, intolerance and cultural preferences.

The shifts are Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 17:00, overtime is also possible.
Our Requirements
Must have previous Nursery or School kitchen experience in the United Kingdom.
Excellent food hygiene and cleanliness practices.
Knowledge of allergies/intolerance and cultural preference (This is a must)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From 12.45 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday No weekends Overtime
