Summary
We are seeking a Lunch Time Assistant to join our team at Little Clovers Nursery. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic and looking for a few part time hours with a purpose. You will play a vital role in creating a safe and engaging, and environment.
The role is 3 hours a day between 11.30-2.30 Monday to Friday term time only.
Responsibilities
Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers
Encourage positive behavior and social skills among children.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery.
Providing cover in nursery rooms while staff take their lunch breaks
Supporting children during play, routines, and transitions
Assisting with and supervising
outdoor play
Ensuring children are safe, happy, and engaged at all times
Maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating environment
Requirements
Previous experience in a childcare or nursery setting is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Passion for working with young children.
