Are you a passionate and experienced childcare professional looking for your next leadership role? We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join our friendly and dedicated team in Wokingham on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role

As Nursery Manager, you'll play a key role in leading and inspiring a team of early years practitioners to deliver exceptional care and education for children. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards in line with Ofsted requirements, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of practitioners to deliver outstanding childcare and education Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies. Manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively. Maintain accurate records and uphold health and safety standards.

About You

Level 3 or above in Early Years Education or equivalent (essential). Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding procedures. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a nursery setting. Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills. A passion for creating an inspiring, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
