What will you be doing?
As Nursery Manager, you'll be the heart of the nursery -- inspiring your team, supporting families, and ensuring every child feels valued and encouraged to flourish.
Key responsibilities include:
Educational Leadership
- Champion a play-based curriculum that fosters curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Team Development
- Lead, motivate, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional care and uphold the nursery's warm, inclusive ethos.
Operational Excellence
- Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, compliance, and health & safety, ensuring a smooth and happy environment for children and families.
Parent Partnerships
- Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, offering clear communication and celebrating children's progress.
Quality & Growth
- Maintain high standards across all areas, promoting continuous improvement and supporting steady, sustainable growth.
Safeguarding & Compliance
- Ensure that all policies and procedures meet Ofsted and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.
Who are we looking for?
We're seeking a confident, compassionate, and experienced leader with a genuine passion for early childhood education.
Essential qualifications and experience include:
Proven leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting
A recognised Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years Education
Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and EYFS frameworks
Excellent communication, organisation, and people management skills
A collaborative mindset with the ability to inspire, guide, and develop others
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and inspection readiness
