The Role

We're seeking a

Positive, Enthusiastic and Energetic Nursery Manager

to lead our team and drive our nursery's growth. You'll work alongside the Directors to oversee all aspects of nursery operations--financial, educational, and people?focused.

Key Responsibilities

Day?to?day management: opening/closing, occupancy targets, financial oversight (budget, petty cash) Lead, mentor and develop the team--conduct supervisions, identify training needs, and foster a collaborative, supportive culture. Work as a leader - leading the team with positive attitude creating a positive working environment for all. Work directly with the children and know every child in your care. Deliver high?quality EYFS provision from birth to five, ensuring safeguarding and compliance at all times. Build strong partnerships with parents, external agencies, and regulatory bodies to support children and families. Adhering to Health and Safety policies, maintaining risk assessments, and relevant policies and procedure documentation. Ensuring the records are updated and maintained at a high standard throughout the setting. Work closely alongside the Directors to drive the business forward.

Requirements

Have previous leadership or supervisory experience in a similar or higher position. Have sound knowledge of running a nursery setting in the best way possible with positive attitude creating a positive environment. Qualified to at least

Level 3 in childcare

, ideally holding

Level 6 qualification

(e.g. QTS, EYPS, or EYTS) and working directly with children Minimum

two years post?qualification experience

in a nursery or childcare setting, with leadership or supervisory background Up?to?date

First Aid qualification

, enhanced

DBS with update service

and safeguarding in place Passionate about working creatively with young children--painting, gloop, role?play encouraged!

We offer a competitive pay with a yearly salary of 40,000 to 43,000 pro rata based on qualification and experience.
