Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our childcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and parents, and a commitment to providing a nurturing environment for children.

Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children. Manage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality childcare practices. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development in line with early years frameworks. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as nursery policies and procedures. Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community. Foster a positive team culture that encourages professional development and collaboration among staff members.

Experience

Proven experience in a nursery setting or similar childcare environment is essential. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided at the nursery.
