What You'll Be Doing



As Nursery Manager, you'll take a hands-on leadership role in the day-to-day running of the setting. You will:

Work closely with the management team to keep daily operations smooth and efficient Lead, mentor, and support staff across all rooms, ensuring policies and procedures are followed Take responsibility for the nursery in the manager's absence Support team performance through appraisals, observations, and regular feedback Plan and lead team meetings and development sessions Monitor classroom environments, encouraging creativity, safety, and learning through play Oversee daily routines, staffing levels, and adult-to-child ratios Support family partnerships and ensure excellent parent communication Contribute to the planning and delivery of events, activities, and training days Use our digital nursery system (training provided) to record and manage day-to-day tasks

Who We're Looking For



We'd love to hear from you if you are:

Qualified to Level 3 or higher in Early Years Education Experienced in a leadership or supervisory role within a nursery or childcare setting Confident with early years frameworks including the EYFS, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding guidelines Strong with communication--both written and verbal Comfortable using IT and digital record-keeping systems Positive, motivated, and genuinely passionate about early years education A natural team leader who brings out the best in others

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 47,000.00 per year
