Little Lambs Nursery is a brand-new, purpose-built setting opening soon in a beautiful
working farm environment
. From day one, we will offer high-quality early years education and care rooted in curiosity, creativity, and nature-based exploration. Our nursery will initially open with a one room
for up to 24 children
, supported by a dedicated and well-qualified team.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring, and experienced
Nursery Manager
to lead our team, bring our ethos to life, and drive us towards
Outstanding
standards in care, education, and compliance.

About You
We're looking for someone who is:

fun, outgoing, and creative leader
who inspires others and loves working with children
Warm, confident, and genuinely passionate about early years education
A
team player
who builds strong relationships with staff, families, and the wider community
Skilled in delivering high standards of practice across safeguarding, EYFS, and staff development
Organised and focused, with an eye for quality and detail
Confident in leading inspections and quality improvement
Holds a
Level 3 (minimum)
in Early Years Education (Level 5 or higher preferred)
Has recent
management experience
in an Ofsted-rated Good or Outstanding setting
A committed
Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
or willing to be trained as one
Eager to
embrace and champion our nursery's unique values and farm-based ethos
Your Role
As Nursery Manager, you will:
Lead the nursery's daily operations, ensuring smooth, safe, and high-quality care
Build and guide a passionate team through effective recruitment, mentoring and leadership
Champion our creative, nature-connected and child-led curriculum
Maintain strong compliance with Ofsted and statutory EYFS requirements
Develop strong, trusting relationships with families
Play an active role in developing occupancy and visibility in the community
Drive excellence in preparation for inspection -
