Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in early childhood education. This role requires someone who can effectively manage staff, communicate with parents, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children. The Nursery Manager will play a crucial role in fostering the development of young children while maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to staff members. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in childcare. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns. Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource management. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community. Monitor children's progress and adapt programmes as necessary to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

- Level 3 qualification or above with a minimum of 3 years experience as a manager

- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood development

- Ability to drive initiatives that improve nursery operations and child outcomes

- Knowledge of current best practices in childcare and early years education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
