Nursery Manager (maternity Cover)

As Nursery manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of nursery. You'll lead and motivate the team, maintain high standards of care and education, ensure compliance with statutory requirements and build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing the smooth daily operations of the nursery Lead, support and develop the team through appraisals and training Ensure compliance with the EYFS, health and safety, safeguarding, policies and procedures, risk assessments and Ofsted regulations. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for children aged between 3 months and 5 years, and wrap-around care for children up to 11 years old. Build strong and trusting relationships with families and our local community. Work alongside the Nursery Administrator, gaining knowledge on budgets, occupancy, staffing and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Proven 2 year experience in a management role within a nursery or childcare setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development is essential.
