The Role - What You'll Be Doing:
As Nursery Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery. You'll lead and develop a strong, passionate team and ensure every child receives the highest standard of care, education, and emotional support.
Key duties include:
Overseeing the operational and educational standards of the setting
Leading and mentoring the team, supporting staff development and performance
Driving high standards across safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS delivery
Managing occupancy targets, budgets, and administrative responsibilities
Supporting with inspections and ensuring continued regulatory compliance
Building strong, professional relationships with parents and carers
Promoting a culture of inclusion, creativity, and child-led learning
About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
Previous nursery management or deputy experience in a similar-sized setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
A passion for nurturing children and developing teams
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
A calm, confident and positive approach to day-to-day challenges
