About the Role
As Nursery Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the nursery. You'll lead by example, support and mentor your team, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, high-quality, and compliant setting
Lead, motivate, and support a team of Early Years practitioners
Deliver and embed the EYFS curriculum effectively across the nursery
Build positive, professional relationships with parents, carers, and external partners
Oversee recruitment, training, performance, and staff development
Maintain high occupancy levels and support financial targets and budgets
Ensure continuous compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations
Drive quality improvement and maintain inspection readiness at all times
About You
We are seeking a confident and capable leader with a child-focused approach and a strong track record in nursery management.
Essential Requirements:
Minimum
Level 3 qualification in Early Years
(Level 5 or above desirable)
Proven experience as a
Nursery Manager
or in a senior leadership role within an early years setting
In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
