Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our nursery team and ensure a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of early childhood education. This role is essential in fostering the development of children while supporting staff in delivering high-quality childcare services.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare. Lead, mentor, and support nursery staff, promoting professional development and teamwork. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on their children's progress and addressing any concerns. Manage budgets, resources, and supplies to ensure the nursery operates efficiently. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement strategies to support their growth. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.

Skills

Proven management experience in a childcare setting, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities. Experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff, parents, and children. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to drive is preferred for attending off-site activities or meetings as required. A nurturing attitude with a genuine passion for childcare and child development.
