Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Nursery Manager to manage our nursery in Nottage. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and understanding of early childhood education. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering positive relationships with staff and parents. The Nursery Manager will drive the vision of the nursery while maintaining high standards of care and education.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare. Lead, mentor, and manage staff, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment. Develop and implement early childhood education curriculum's that stimulate children's development and learning. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors. Manage resources efficiently, including budgeting for supplies and materials necessary for the nursery's operation. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on child development. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all aspects of the nursery. Ensure compliance with healthy and safety regulations as well as educational standards. Lead with integrity, resilience and a proactive attitude to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Experience

Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Childcare. Previous leadership experience within a nursery environment. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to motivate and inspire a team. A positive, welcoming attitude with strong leadership, organisational and communication skills. Passionate about delivering outstanding early years education and care. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
