We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our new nursery team and provide a nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and management, ensuring that our nursery meets the highest standards of care and education. This role involves overseeing daily operations, supporting staff development, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.

Duties

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Lead, motivate, and support the nursery team in delivering high-quality childcare. Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and wellbeing. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement appropriate strategies to support their growth. Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn. Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management to build a strong team. Manage budgets, resources, and supplies effectively to ensure smooth nursery operations.

Skills

Proven experience in management and leadership within a childcare setting. Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation purposes when required.
