Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced

Early Years Manager

to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to lead our setting, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

About you:




Hold a full and relevant level 3 Early Years Qualification At least 2 years experience in Early years GCSE level C or above Have a good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding duties, nursery procedures and policies Have good knowledge of birth to 5 development and the EYFS curriculum Excellent practice within an early years setting Have excellent organisational and time management skills Have a passion for outdoor learning and delivering enriching learning opportunities for children Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge in Early Years and have full understanding of children's emotional, physical, psychological and educational developmental needs A positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to service excellence to allow us to maintain our high standards Be able to work as a team Have a professional attitude and manner

What you'll be doing




Supervising children within the nursery environment, including mealtimes, rest periods and nappy changing/toileting Creating fun and engaging activities to suit the needs of the children Promote good hygiene practices Building solid, caring relationships with parents/carers, families, professionals, and your team Keeping accurate records and communicating with parents/carers Supporting your team members and being a positive role model, who looks to develop and suggest positive changes Leading the room in the absence of the room leader Attend staff meetings or any training courses that will help enhance your personal and professional development Monitor and record all accidents Adhering to and implement all nursery procedures and policies Contributing new ideas to continue to develop our practice
