We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clients nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in early childhood education, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires effective communication in English and the ability to manage staff while fostering positive relationships with children and their families.
Duties
Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care and education.
Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development and learning.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and parents.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress, needs, and any concerns.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to childcare.
Organise staff training sessions to enhance professional development within the team.
Monitor children's progress through regular assessments and observations.
Manage daily administrative tasks including attendance records, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Requirements
Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare management are advantageous.
