Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clientsnursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a strong background in management and leadership. This role involves ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while managing staff and engaging with parents.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead, motivate, and support the nursery team to deliver high-quality childcare and education. Develop and implement educational programmes that meet the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a welcoming community. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and maintain accurate records. Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning. Handle administrative tasks including budgeting, staffing, and resource management. Promote effective communication within the team and with parents regarding children's progress and wellbeing.

Skills

Proven management experience in a childcare setting. Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide staff effectively. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive as needed for nursery-related activities or events. A nurturing attitude towards children combined with strong organisational skills.
