Job Description

Wishford Education is seeking a creative, energetic, and highly organised Nursery Marketing and Admissions Executive to deliver the marketing strategy for our group of day nurseries in the Wiltshire and Gloucestershire area. This role is pivotal in driving occupancy, enhancing brand awareness, and building strong relationships with our families and communities. You will work closely with the wider Marketing & Admissions team, Nursery Managers, and Nursery Area Manager to ensure consistent, high-quality marketing and communications across all channels.

Hours, Salary & Benefits:



Hours: Full-time, year-round position. 40 hours per week.

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 pa dependent on skills and experience

Reporting to: Head of Marketing & Communications and Nursery Area Manager

What You'll Be Doing:



Marketing and Communications



Implement and support the nursery marketing strategy, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with key messages. Plan, design, and deliver engaging marketing materials including brochures, flyers, newsletters, social media content, website updates, and press releases. Manage and grow the nurseries' social media presence, creating compelling content that reflects the unique identity of each setting. Maintain and regularly audit website content to ensure accuracy and relevance. Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan and execute targeted campaigns. Monitor and evaluate marketing performance using relevant metrics and tools, reporting regularly to the Head of Marketing & Admissions. Manage a rolling programme of updates to marketing collateral and contribute to statistical marketing and recruitment reports. Monitor the day nursery market and competitor activity. Encourage and gather parent reviews for online platforms, including Daynurseries.com

Content Creation



Visit our nursery settings regularly to gather content including photography, video, articles, blogs, and news stories. Produce and deliver a detailed weekly content plan aligned with the marketing strategy and audience engagement goals. Create and distribute the nursery newsletter and assist with internal communications.

Admissions & Events



Help devise, run and promote open days and other events, assisting with personal visits and ensuring a welcoming experience for prospective families. Work collaboratively with nursery managers to align marketing efforts with operational and educational goals. Support the nursery teams to utilise EYenquiries and EYengage to manage and track enquiries, ensuring timely and effective engagement with prospective families, and supporting the conversion of enquiries into registrations.

Stakeholder Engagement



Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, children, staff, partners, and media outlets Engage with colleagues across the nurseries to generate buy-in for marketing initiatives and content creation.

Person Specification:



Essential Skills & Experience



Minimum 3 years' experience in marketing Preferably an understanding of early years or education market Proven ability to create high-quality content across digital and print platforms. Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Confident in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in IT systems and marketing tools and software such as Canva.

Creative, enthusiastic, and proactive with a can-do attitude. A self-starter, strategic thinker with a flair for storytelling and community engagement Confidence to work independently and collaboratively. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential, as travel between our nurseries across Wiltshire and Gloucestershire is a key part of the role.
A significant focus of this role is on creating authentic, engaging content that reflects the unique character of each nursery. To achieve this, regular on-site presence is essential. The successful candidate will spend much of their time working from our nursery settings, building relationships with staff and families, and capturing real-life stories, photos, and videos.
